APPLICATION / ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in Coastal Empire Montessori! We are pleased that you are considering applying to our program. We offer a free, public, charter school program for Kindergarten – 5th Grade (K-5) and an associated, integrated Georgia Pre-K4 program.

Coastal Empire Montessori is the first & long-time only Montessori charter school in the state of Georgia, and it is important that prospective families educate themselves about our mission and methodology so that our relationship with you and your child(ren) can be a long and constructive one.

The Admissions Lottery for the 2025-25 School Year was held on April 10, 2025; a recording can be viewed on our Facebook page here.

We continue to welcome applications on a rolling basis, and all applicants will be placed on a grade-level wait list in application order. Chatham County residency is the only eligibility requirement.

Selected applicants will receive all necessary information regarding registration, enrollment, orientation, and other next steps if/once selected.

It is important that CEMCS is kept apprised of all changes in contact information to ensure that applications can be processed and registrations can be maintained. CEMCS respects the right of privacy of all prospective students and families and honors the confidentiality of all information received as part of the admissions process.
